$150 for beach wedding ceremony music. $100 if I'm dj'ing your reception.

From dinner and drinks to creating a club feel. I'm experienced at managing the timeline of your event. I'm a gearhead, but know that this means nothing if the personality and energy isn't there. Sound equipment and lighting are matched to your needs. Based on room size, number of guests, etc. See the 'GEAR' section for specific capabilities.

I will play inside or outside; ballrooms, clubhouses, beach houses, pool decks, patios, as well as the beach. No room is too big or too small.

During your booking process and before your event, we will discuss your song and timeline needs. You may rely on me to choose, choose entirely yourself, or a combination of both. We will also set parameters for requests from your guests (ie: genres, adult content, songs you don't want played, etc). A short but comprehensive worksheet is given to you so that you may consider all of your options for your event.

Quality digital audio in either uncompressed FLAC or high bitrate MP3 is always used. What this means is that songs are crisp and properly balanced.

The music library currently has 121,637 songs from 6,671 Artists. This equates to over a year of continuous play. Under most circumstances, any song can be obtained before your event, and with web access at your venue, during your event.

Everything played is scrobbled to last.fm so you can see what's popular. You and your guests can even go back and listen to these songs and relive the moment.

"Clean" versions of songs (non-explicit lyrics) are always played unless otherwise requested.

Mackie sound boards (PA), Chauvet lights (multiple options), Ultimate speaker & lighting stands.

Media software (JRiver's Media Center v12), run on redundant robust windows based notebooks.

Microphones (wireless & wired), perfect for toasting, presentations, etc. Other audio/visual equipment can be incorporated as well.

Tables, stands, skirts, and other equipment are included in professional black.

Ability to incorporate a guest's IPOD, CD, or other personal audio devices.

Audio components are selected based on room size, the nature of your event, and the number of people attending.

'dj octavious is the moniker of Ken Delo. By day, he's a professional wedding & family photographer based out of Blue Mountain Beach on historic hwy 30a.

After living in Middle Tennessee and managing territories all over the Southeast as a software sales rep, he decided the "road warrior" lifestyle wasn't very rewarding. He relocated to the idyllic "nature coast" of South Florida and took up a new trade. Several years later, Ken finally made landfall on the "emerald coast" of the Florida Panhandle, where he lives now.

A veteran of all things "wedding", he has DJ'd numerous receptions, parties, and corporate events.

Ken is married to the love of his life Heather! You may see Heather photographing your reception or rocking the mic as m.C.shell.
